The prominent actress of Kannada cinema the charming and bubbling Ramya has pocketed the hat trick crown on last Friday as her third in a row in 2005 - Amrutha Dhaare completed 100 days of screening. The earlier two super hit films of Ramya are Akash and Gowramma. She is the heroine of the year 2005.



Chitraloka congratulating this sweet actress on this rare feat spoke to Ramya on the sets of her latest film 'Seventhi Sevanthi' at Chickmagalur.

Here are the excerpts:

How was the year 2005 for you?
I am extremely happy I got three hits. It has been a sweet year for me. I learnt something from the Acting school and I am more than happy.

You were really looking for this success?
From the beginning of 2005 I was telling that I would give an answer at the end of the year. It has happened with 'Amrutha Dhaare' completing 100 days on 23rd December. I have a happy flash back for me in 2006.

What is your agenda for 2006?
No agenda. No resolutions. I am a good girl as well as simple girl too. I want to better 2006 from my 2005. That's all. On positive signs I moved in 2005. My puppy 'Brandy' is new addition to my life.

How the film 'Julie' has shaped up?
'Julie' has been very close to my heart. Dino is my favorite co star. Poornimaji has done the film wonderfully the songs are shot very well. Choreographers from Mumbai worked for this film. This is set for January end release.

How is this 'Sevanthi Sevanthi'?
Initially I had some apprehensions. I was scared of S.Narayan. Smt. Parvathamma told me to accept this film. I would have really missed something good. There is a wonderful atmosphere and Narayanji is a nice guy to work with. Always I think about the subject first and when I get the belief then it is smooth for me.

The films on hand as of now…..
I have shot for Datta for only two days. After first schedule of Sevanthi Sevanthi I am joining Datta team. The film shooting will be held in supersonic camera. We are going to Italy to shoot the song portion and its major portion shooting will be held in Mysore. I move on to Thana Nam Thananam. After that I have Yogish's film that will be shot in London.
