NAVYA NAIR EXCITED ABOUT `SAIRA'

Navya Nair, the Malayalam girl is the heroine of Kannada film `Gaja' in which she is paired with Darshan. She is presently shooting for the film in Rockline Studios in Bangalore. Navya's Malayalam film `Saira' won awards for her and had won a place in the Indian Panorama last year. The film was also selected for the Prestigious Cannes film festival where it was screened on 19th May.

When contacted, Navya Nair said that she was too excited to react when she learnt that her film `Saira' was to be screened in a prestigious film festival like the one in Cannes. "I am lucky that so many films of mine have been selected for several festivals, but this is the first time that a film has been screened in the Cannes film festival. I am shooting here for a Kannada film, but I am thinking as to how my film will be received by the audience and delegates of the festival' said Navya.

Navya is also happy that she is being encouraged by the whole unit of "Gaja' and she is also trying to speak in Kannada language. 'I am happy that I will be completing work in all the four south Indian language films' says Navya.
