MANO WORKING ON JAZZ

The mellifluous music director Mano Murthy a resident of California since 1976 is now trying out with blend of Jazz and Indian classical. This experiment is going on but it would take a final shape after sometime he informed the media.

Giving continuous three hits – America America, Nanna Preethiya Hudugi and Preethi Prema Pranaya he has conquered the hat trick music director crown. ‘I am trying the Spanish tunes’ in this film and all the songs are different and rise to the situations says Mano Murthy.

I am now free to try out my passionate job – music - with lot of devotion. My children have grown up and my first love – my family is very well settled and I am financially independent. For Kannada film music directors Mano Murthy has stated that he will be the ‘cheapest’ music director for them. If you don’t take me to score music then it will be a costly affair he said. I come and go on my own. The burden of expenses for journey from California to Karnataka is my head ache he has admitted. Now it is up to Kannada film makers to make use of the services of this brilliant music director.

However he feels proud for working with another team that is enthusiastic and energetic.
