IndrajithWhen the Kannada filmdom is heading for a glorious innings the reputed director Girish Kasaravalli should not call it 'Gory'. I am like a just born baby in direction. It hurts many of the film makers. If that is the case why his 'Haseena' or any other film of Girish Kasaravalli did not run successfully - Indrajith Lankesh shoots 'Indra Dhanush' at Girish Kasaravalli for attributing wrongly. Girishji should be a source of inspiration for others. He should not make a comment that gives a very wrong opinion about Kannada filmdom at the national and international standards says Indrajith Lankesh addressing the media at Rejoyz auditorium in Malleswaram recently.

The new bunch of crops is yielding very good returns and there has been lot of variety seen. Reputed person of Girish Stature without making novel attempts should not decry the Kannada films. After all his one film in a year is a pittance for the hungry mouths who are depending on film making points Indrajith.

IndrajithDrawing his attention on the progres of his career Indrajith Lankesh said he was very busy in giving a shape to his tabloid and he was not afford to involve himself in film activities from the last one year. I have got ready three subjects in which one is a remake of 'Deewar' titled in Kannada as 'Indra Chandra'. I had even contacted Upendra and Shivrajkumat to star in this film but my further thought on the subject decided not to go for remake film. I have dropped the whole idea of 'Indra Chandra'. Now I have taken up 'Ra Raa' a murder mystery going on the floors in December. Nanjunda has penned the story and Gurukiran will be scoring the music for this film. The third project is called 'Fair and Lovely' said Indrajith.

For the success of 'Monalisa' and bagging the first best film award at the state level I thought of sharing my happiness with journalist’s friends. 'Monalisa' has a very huge viewership of 12 crore people in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. For getting the award for the film the technicians and artistes are responsible.
