The accolades are flowing to leading character artist Doddanna for his absolutely brilliant performance in the recently released Vishnuvardhan starrer "Sirivantha' directed by S.Narayan. Telephones and mobiles have not stopped ringing in his house ever since the release of this Rockline Venkatesh presentation.

Doddanna has been quite happy at the way people are reacting about his performance in this film. Doddanna who is one of the most talented character artists of the Kannada film industry feels that "Sirivantha' is certainly a high point in his film career. The appreciation has boosted the actor who has now left his drinking habits. He is fully professional now and attends the shootings maintaining the timings.

From the last two years, many top Kannada film producers had complained against Doddanna for his indiscipline and had decided to drop him from many projects. Doddanna had lost out some of the good roles to his younger competitors. Now, Doddanna has come back with a bang with a highly creditable performance in the recently released film "Sirivantha'.

He has proven his mettle of exceptional talents once again in "Sirivantha' which has brought him to focus again. Series of problems including deterioration of his health and his indisciplined and unprofessional behaviour had kept him out of the spectrum in the Kannada film industry for some time, but the talented fat man has returned with vengeance through a fantastic performance.

Doddanna himself is pleased about the reactions that he is receiving for the film. He thanks Producer Rockline Venkatesh and director S. Narayan for providing him a great opportunity. Doddanna has made a great come back to the industry and has completely free from his vices like drinking and over sleeping. Doddanna also thanks Dr. Vishnuvardhan for accepting such a challenging role in his career in "Sirivantha' where he had very little to do in the climax sequences.
