Top producer of Kannada cinema Ramu has picked up an interesting subject once again. The richness of good mind is more important than the richness of money is the crux of his new venture that went on the floors on the auspicious Varamahalakshmi day at Rockline studio on the outskirts of Bangalore. Superstar Shivrajkumar is in the lead role of this ‘Thavarina Siri’ and this is his 6th venture in Ramu Enterprises banner. Shivanna is like my family artiste. This film will be completed in 60 days and slated for release on Sankranthi day informed Ramu who is sitting pretty with a series of hits.

This is a sentiment filled film. This is different from sister sentiment film ‘Thavarige Baa Thangi’. Perhaps it is for the first time producer Ramu is completing this film in 60 days span said Shivrajkumar. His brother Puneeth Rajkumar sounded the clapboard for the first scene.

The director of ‘Thavarina Siri’ is Om Saiprakash. Once my direction and Ramu’s wife actress Malashri combine was a big hit. Now this one after ‘Thavarige Baa Thangi’ hit – story -writer Ajaykumar, Shivrajkumar and myself are back in producer Ramu’s film. I don’t like any film that is not tasteful to women. My wife should not yell at me. Next the audience should not talk ill about me. That is the practice I have been maintaining throughout my career says Sairprakash addressing the media. The protagonist in the film ‘Thavarina Siri’ Shivrajkumar is man with Srirama qualities. He does what he says and on the promise he makes he never goes back. He has three sisters in the film and Daisy Boppanna (she was absent on the muhurut day) is his counterpart in the film. Hamsalekha has penned the lyrics and music. Hasidaga Anna dhanidaga Neeru Kodadidda mele yenu chenna…. Is one of the lines written by Hamsalekha. Ashita, Ashwini and Mamata are the three sisters of this film for Shivrajkumar. Adarsh, Vasu, Sunil (Still Nagaraj’s son) Doddanna, Hema Chaudhary, Satyajith, Shobaraj, Tennis Krishna are also in the cast.

It is rather very easy to work with Shivrajkumar because he does not bind himself to any image. He does not have ego and in the team of Ramu enterprises the team spirit will be always good. The support of actress Malashri is too important in this says story- writer Ajaykumar.
 

An artiste will be always hoping for good role. I have one in this film says Ramesh Bhat who has a ponytail in this film. This role is to the range of what veteran Ashwath used to do and I hope I will do justice to the role said Ramesh Bhat. 

One should have brother like Shivrajkumar. A brother with full of human values is rich goodness. We all hope the society would talk like that was the chorus opinion of the three sisters Ashita, Ashwini and Mamata who were decked like ‘Mahalakshmi’s on the muhurut day.
