Darshan And MS Ramesh Combine

‘When Darshan was noted hero I made debut from ‘Dhruva’ as director. Now Darshan is a star, I am a noted director in ‘Swami’. After sometime he will be superstar and then I will be a star director’ – this is the confidence cum compliment mixed reaction of reputed director cum dialogue writer M.S.Ramesh on the day of muhuruth of ‘Swami’ for ‘Darshan Films (Mandya)’ produced by Mr Basavaraj a noted distributor for over a decade. Noted actress (debut ‘Neela’ of Nagabharana) diving expert cum trainer cum model Gayathri Jayaram comes back to Kannada opposite Darshan as an investigative journalist in this film.

‘Swami’ is a good combination of Navarasas. In the undercurrent in the first half there will be rowdy attitude but I will promise that it will not be the usual ‘hodi badi kadi’ says Ramesh in his address at Green House Restaurant on Thursday evening. In the second half the rowdy becomes very important for the society and he helps the police department. How he transform, there is a curious turn in the film that you have to watch only on silver screen says the intelligent director Ramesh. The film will be shot in one schedule from April 4th at Bangalore, Mysore and Savadatti fort. For Avinash the role is completely a black shade one but for Shobaraj the role transform from negative to positive. I am friend of the producer Basavaraj sitting right to me since 17 years. This will be a commercial entertainer. The title of ‘Swami’ was registered by a friend of director Ramnath Rigvedi. When we approached him for the title transfer he agreed with no condition or extra payment informed M.S.Ramesh.

In all action and commercial films what I look for is the change in the style of narration, turn and twist of incident. That is there in this film says Darshan who is sitting pretty with marvelous hits behind him. 

GAYATRI JAYARAM
While I was doing ‘Neela’ I was a school going girl. Nagabharanaji has taught me so much and inspired me to become an actress. After watching Neela I decided to become an actress and worked in six Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. In the last one year I am into diving profession in Malaysia. I dive up to 125 feet and trained around 1000 students. In the island Tiomen that is 45 minutes drive from Malaysia I was giving training. Perhaps I am the only lady trainer in this interesting profession. I am taking break from Tamil films for sometime and I would like to be more in Kannada films. I am not interested in Hindi films says the beautiful looking Gayathri Jayaram. I play a modern and bold journalist and that reminds me of TV journalist Ms Bharka Dutt. I am not scared of anything in the film. I help the police in the film in achieving their target added Gayathri Jayaram.

Gayathri Jayaram who was into modeling in Mumbai for quite sometime has acted in Manadhi Thiruda Vittal with Prabhudeva, April Madathil with Srikanth, Vasigra with Vijay and Nee Varum Padheyallam in Tamil. In Telugu she has acted in ‘Naidu LLB’ with Akash. In Malayalam she has appeared in ‘Naan Selvaperu Raman Kutti’ with top actor Jayaram.

Why are you not picking the Tamil offers staying in Chennai? I don’t like the hierarchy there. A producer and director eat separately and show disparity. That is not the atmosphere in Kannada. I will be Kannada for another three years from now.
