Time - 11.30 PM
Scene
- 1 The daughter is down with fever. She wants
to take a nap on the lap of her mother. Her mother is
an industrialist. Her father too has no time. They hire
a nurse to take care of their daughter – the urge
to grow fast and make name and fame deceive the affection
of parents. Corrupt in affections!
Scene 2 - An MLA of
those days was carrying Mysore Silk Saree, Mysore Pak and Mysore
Jasmine to his bosses in New Delhi to get his work done for the
locality. Now an MLA goes his boss in New Delhi ask him to get ready
a plot in the heart of city for multi storied building for him.
Corrupt system!
Scene 3 - A CBI chief
explains to his son in those days he was sleeping on the footpath
in Malleswaram and hardly any vehicles. The son replies now the
traffic, pollution is so high that he took 40 minutes to cross the
main road in Malleswaram. Corrupt environment!
Scene 4 - The situation
in central Jail is no different. Those who do not have money to
fight their cases are still locked in the prison. Corrupt administration!
Intelligent
and upright KAS officer E.Channagangappa explained the
above scenes. The situations came in front of the eyes
of media that attended the muhuruth of his film 'Soundarya'
Kannada film at G.V.Iyer Studio at Ramohalli near Dodda
Aladhamara on the outskirts of Bangalore.
How an ordinary simple family lives in this clumsy
atmosphere? This is the question doing rounds in the minds of director
Channagangappa who has written the story, screenplay and dialogues
for the film. Ganapathi Prabhu (Dharmasthala), D.Ramachandra, R.Govindaraju
and H.G. Raghavendra (Kengeri) are the producers of this film. Hamsalekha
scores the lyrics and music while R.Giri is the cameraman of the
film.
In
addition to it the beauty of Bangalore has lost or increased
with the IT and BT coming up rapidly in Bangalore is the
other element the director touching in his third directorial
venture. The quick speed of growth is explained. Earlier
C'gangappa has directed 'Karimaleya Kaggatalu' and 'Nannaseya
Hoove' Kannada films.
The title of the film is 'Soundarya' but the beauty
what the director talks about on the screen is the beauty of life
and our Bangalore.

In the given situation how the moral values, economic status crumble
for an ordinary family is explained. Ramesh Aravind, Sakshi Shivanand
and Baby Shreya (of Colgate fame) form a simple family that faces
the trauma. There is Rahul Dev the trouble shooter Mafia don in
the film. Avinash playing the Swamiji role informed the bureaucrat.
Congrats from Chitraloka for Channagangappa for his thoughts.
RAMESH ARAVIND

After 'Amrutha Varshini' I have another prominent role to play.
I am not talking too much and the role is touching. Director Channagangappa
has done the story board for the film. The entire film is available
in the format of a comic book. This helps every artiste and technician.
He had taken nearly two months and worked on this concept it seems
said Ramesh. There will be clarity and it will be of big help to
all from story board he opines.
IT'S MY REAL LIFE – SAAKSHI
SHIVANAND
The beautiful lass Sakshi Shivanand is coming back to Kannada after
'Thandege Thakka Maga'. The mafia connection in the film of course
is real for this actress. In one of the cases she got tied up in
a property deal in Hyderabad. She had to fight to get it to her
side. A social activist has helped in this case remembered Saakshi
Shivanand.
