Narayan Tribute To KR 50

Narayan, Vijaya RaghavendraProminent director S.Narayan who knows the pulse of cine goers in Karnataka is paying a rich tribute to the rick folk songs in Karnataka on the occasion of the 50th year of Kannada Rajyotsava. This is coinciding with his new film 'Sevanthi Sevanthi' that was launched on Friday at Rockline Studio. Smt.Parvathamma Rajkumar and others graced the muhurut function.

S.A.Chinne Gowda is producing this film in the name of his wife. Vijaya Raghavendra and Ramya play the lead roles in this new directorial venture of reputed director S.Narayan. This is set in the village and city backdrop. The protagonist lends the sprinkle of folklore said Narayan. I am searching for the best eight folk songs for converting it on the silver screen. Ho.Na.Sathya is helping me in this regard. The shooting commences from December 1 and it will be released in April next informed Narayan.

Producer Chinne Gowda the proud father of two star sons - Vijay and Murali is pinning hopes on the caliber on director Narayan. Narayan is known for systematic film making. Those who have worked under him have reached the heights. My younger son Murali debut 'Chandra Chakori' is directed by S.Narayan that completed 500 days of screening in Karnataka said Chinne Gowda.

I know the dedication and application of mind of director S.Narayan. I have total confidence in him. It is more than what confidence what I have with me. I want to see pleasure in the face of my father. His dreams have to materialise. From this role I think I can stretch a lot and there is ample scope for performance. Clubbing the nativity is an interesting factor said 'Sri' Vijaya Raghavendra.
