CAMERAMAN MALLIKARJUN HURT
'Pandavaru' Shooting Deferred

Well known cameraman of Kannada cinema Mallikarjun is out of danger after falling from 20 feet height inside the floors of Rockline Studio while shooting for the Kannada film 'Pandavaru' that went on the floors on Monday - 12 th December.

Ambarish, Devraj and Abijit were all set to face the camera for a top angle shot at 12.30 pm on Wednesday the cameraman Mallikarjun went up to fix the camera and sit on the 40 feet crane. When he was about 20 feet high the man who was holding the rope let lose and that resulted in Mallikarjun along with the camera dashing to the foot steps of the studio floor. His two heels were fractured.

The back bone also received hit. Mallikarjun was immediately shifted to Raghavendra Hospital near Bharathi theatre in Peenya. He has been advised six weeks bed rest. Cameraman Mallikarjun tried to avoid the damage for the camera. According to reports the camera is slightly damaged. Probabaly the shooting will continue with an alternate cameraman from tommorow.

Ramkumar (his wife Poornima is the producer of "Pandavaru"), Ambarish, Devraj, Abijit director of the film K.V.Raju went to the hospital around 2.30 pm in the afternoon to arrange for special medical attention to cameraman Mallikarjun.
