'Director Bhargava's 50th Film

What Papa was supposed to do 30 years ago the son is doing it now. This is the second time in the case of father and son. Earlier it was 'Chiguridha Kanasu' now it is 'Gandugali Kumarama' the historical film. Shivrajkumar is playing double role. M.S.Ramaiah Chitralaya is producing this film. This is a patriotic film with wonderful elements such as ideology of Kumararama, his emotions, actions; romance etc filled 700 years old history has resulted in the Vijayanagara Empire shaping up. Single handedly he fights it out against the internal and external forces that perturb the stability. The film muhurut is taking place on 17 th of November at a specially erected set at Abbainaidu Studio. Dr.Rajkumar will preside over the function with his entire family.
 
This is the 50th directorial venture of reputed director Bhargava. There are three heroines Anitha, Laya and Rambha for Shivrajkumar – he plays father and son. The ace music director Gurukiran scores the music. Sundarnath Suvarna is there to capture the beauty of this film in his camera. There is a battalion of senior artistes. C.R.Simha is playing his favorite 'Tuglak' role. Srinivasamurthy is playing a vital role. 
 
The shooting will be held in Bangalore, Hampi surroundings and in Jaipur the battle field will be captured with the backdrop of palace. 
 
Systematic and studious in his approach director Bhargava gave complete information about the film 'Gandugali Kumararama'. The media had no questions to ask. That was Bharagava style. He has prepared the script in five months based on Su Rudramurthy Sastry's novel. 
 

Dr Pattabhirama the key person of M.S.Ramaiah foundation who is producing the film on behalf of his wife Anitha says this is a dream come true for Dr.Rajkumar. We will not leave any stones unturned. We will spend as much as the film demands. We want to start off with this historical venture said Dr.Pattabhirama. He had seen the glee and emotions in the face of Dr.Rajkumar when the story was narrated. That has actually moved him to take up this subject.
