Bhool
Gaya Sab Kuch Yaad Nahi Ab Kuch…. Ho Ho Yek Yadhi Baath
Na Bhooli….. JULIE…., here is Kannada 'Julie' for audience
that is going on the floors at Karwar from 11th November.
The charming actress the elegant queen of Kannada cinema
RAMYA is playing the title role with Dino Morea as her
counterpart.
Debutant
director Poornima Mohan who hails from the prestigious
production house of KCN Movies in Karnataka is very confident
of her maiden direction. She was associated with television
serial 'Americadalli Gorur' actively. Instead of suggesting
changes for directors why I cannot direct a movie I thought
sometime back said Poornima. The result is 'Julie' Kannada
version. From the Hindi version we are not making any
changes in the story but narration style, takings and
music will be different. The same Anglo Indian style is
maintained here. We will retain the flavour of two lovely
songs - Bhool Gaya Sab Kuch…., and Dil Kya Kare…… and
adding some more tunes. Rajesh Ramanathan is scoring the
music. The entire shooting will be held in Karwar from
11th of November at a stretch for 30 days. We have plans
to release the film in January next disclosed Poornima.
From the house of KCN Movies we are taking up 'Madakarinayaka'
based on B.L.Venu novel said the intelligent lady Poornima.
Compared to the film 'Vijayadashami' this is poles apart
she says with a smile. When asked whether she is interested
in acting she just laughed at the question. Interested
in doing women oriented films Poornima said actres Ramya
is the main encouraging factor for her to take up this
film 'Julie'.
M.S.Ramesh
is writing the dialogues. Chitra Shenoy, Ashita, Ashalatha,
Ananthavelu are also in the cast.
This
is 'Ramya Loka' time. Ramya has a series of films in queue
(Datta, Julie, Thananam Thananam, Sevanthi Sevanthi, then
in April 2006 Yogish is producing and directing a film
that will be completely shot in London) and she is on
the cloud nine situation. When Poornima called up to take
the dates of Ramya she was in Mumbai. She liked the passionate
attitude of Poornima and gave the nod to play the role
of what Lakshmi had done in Malayalam 'Chattakari' and
Hindi 'Julie'.
Bold
and dashing Ramya wants the bed room song Bhool Gaya Sab
Kuch in the same romantic style and feels it has to be
sensuous looking on the screen. That particular song gives
a change over. I have liked two main aspects in this film.
The responsibility of mine is to change the society to
some extent. At least 10 girls pick up the message then
it is good says Ramya. The need to be careful and it is
wrong to go for abortion are the main aspects I liked.
I really had 10 sittings from the time Poornima called
me up to do this film said Ramya.
DINO
CONFUSED - the Bangalore born Dino Morea was confused
when Poornima contacted him over telephone and said Ramya
will be playing his counterpart in 'Julie'. He was under
the impression Ramya Krishna is doing it. He said no to
the offer. When the confusion was sorted out and told
about Ramya's standing in the Kannada filmdom he agreed
said Poornima.
Dino
Morea staying in Mumbai with handful of offers is anxiously
looking for the release of Pooja Bhat direction's 'Holiday'.
He has done another role in 'Saturday Night' on the lines
of Travolta. He has to his credit Dipak Tijori's 'Tom
Dick Harry', No Entry, Plan and others to his credit.
He is running an eatery 'Crepe station' with his brother
and has plans to start a night club. Working hard and
earning good is what Dino Morea right now. He has quit
his partnership with his wife Nanditha Mahtani.
Dino
is a good looking guy it is nice to do a romantic role
with such a hero Ramya admitted in the press meet at KCN
Bhavan House in Bangalore.
