The 'Theertha Kshetra' and favorite spot of most of the film activities 'Green House' restaurant in Gandhinagar celrbated its 16th
anniversary on Tuesday, 22nd November in the presence of film journalists and cinema PRO's.

Good relations, courteous behavior and serving good food are the hall mark for the success of Green House was the collective opinion expressed on that day. Green House has been a favorite spot for shooting, television serials and make up tests. 45 films have been
shot in this place in 16 years. This was inaugurated by the icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar 15 years ago.

The proprietor Mr Vasu his brothers Ramesh, Umesh, Lingaraj and Govindaraj were also present at meet the press on Tuesday evening.

Besides the business keeping a long standing relationship is the main objective said Vasu addressing the media. There is nothing called 'boss' in our family restaurant. Peaceful environment and good food has received widespread appreciation. An Australian who visited sometime ago had remarked in the guest book of Green House that 'this is the best place to wine and dine'. This has received appreciation from ITDC and celebration of the Green House Day is in progress from last nine years informed Vasu. He also explained the future progress ahead in the Green House list. He also recalled the adage 'whenever you think strong you will be strong, whenever you think you are weak you will be weak'. There are mistakes from our end but we have always
corrected from our mistakes not repeating it again was the humble admission of Mr Vasu. With strong association in the film circles Vasu declared that he would not try his hands at producing a film. As a matter of fact his father Mr Thippaiah and Dr.Rajkumar worked on stage in Chamarajanagar.

"This is a house away from house for many customers". There was rain of appreciation for the manager of Green House Mr Shekhar from the media persons.

Senior journalists A.S.Murthy, Ganesh Kasargod, K.H.Savitri, Premkumar Hariyabbe, Mysore Harish, senior film publicity officers D.V.Sudheendra and Nagendra also thanked the ambience and good qualities of the staff of Green House.

The 'wine and dine' arrangement was specially arranged by Green House in the thanks giving evening.
