The
Producer of Ramu of 'Auto Shanker' and Namma Basava
film producers Sathyakiran, Santosh, Veerashanker and
Dattu, are thrilled with the completion of 50 days of
their films.
In
our first venture made in a systematic way the result
of 50 days has given good impetus for our future projects
says Sathyakiran speaking to Chitraloka over telephone.
In 47 theatres all over Karnataka 'Namma Basava' is running
successfully says Sathyakiran. For Puneeth Rajkumar this
is going to be another 100. His earlier films Appu, Abhi,
Veera Kannadiga, Mourya and Akash have completed 100 days
screening. Chitraloka wish all the best for Puneeth Rajkumar
to complete 100 days screening. Puneeth's film prior to
'Namma Basava' is running towards 200 thday and going
strong. Recently 'Akash' was shown in Melbourne and Sydney.
Eminent
producer Ramu is equally happy for the response the film
'Auto Shanker' has got him all over Karnataka. The response
is tremendous in B and C centers say Ramu speaking to
Chitraloka. The film will be dubbed in to Telugu. For
Upendra fans this is a real treat and there is interesting
feedback says Ramu. In 49 theatres all over Karnataka
'Auto Shanker' is yielding good returns for producer Ramu.
For
Upendra this success has further enhanced his image. His
last film was 'Gowramma' that has crossed 125 days screening
already.
Meanwhile
'Amrutha Dhaare' of Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar is also
scoring well at the box office. This is the first south
Indian film for Amitabha Bachchan. This has just completed
50 days making it good in abroad also. Dhyan and Ramya
are in the key roles. Actress Ramya is looking for hat
trick from the success of this film. She is eagerly waiting
for the film 'Amritha Dhaare' to complete 100 days to
jump in joy.
In
a few days from now 'Jogi' will be completing 100 days
all over Karnataka with record break collection in the
box office. On 100th day this third directorial venture
of Prem 'Jogi' starring Shivrajkumar, Jennifer Kotwal
and Arundhati Nag would have collected Rs.25 crores is
the estimate of the industry bigwigs.
It
is not three cheers but four cheers to Kannada filmdom!
