The
much sought after supporting actor of Kannada cinema Avinash
has reasons to smile. In the huge cut outs of ‘Chandramukhi’
(as it completed 150 days) film starring Rajanikanth there
is another huge cut out the other side of the huge poster.
That is of Avinash. This is a big surprise for me says
Avinash. It is something noteworthy for an actor who hails
from Kannada filmdom to get such honor. In ‘Chandramukhi’
Avinash plays the similar Mantravadi role he had done
in Kannada film ‘Aptha Mithra’ from which Tamil superstar
Rajanikanth got inspired that eventually made him to comeback
to acting in ‘Chandramukhi’. Prior to Rajanikanth doing
the role of psychiatrist Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan
had played the role for which he got the Film Fare award
too. For Kannada version the Malayalam film ‘Mani Chitrathal’
starring Mohanlal and Shobana was the inspiration.
There
is some more news from this agile actor Avinash. He has
signed an important film ‘POI’ (in Telugu it is Apadham)
in Tamil that is 101st directorial venture of spectacular
director of South India K.Balachander. Avinash plays the
role of a politician in ‘Poi’ that is produced by Prakash
Rai. Hailing from Karnataka Prakash Rai produces this
film for his mentor KB.
