Ganga Kaveri producer Venkatappa clarified that what has been written in the Chitraloka portal about the ongoing controversy with regard to his film "Ganga Cauvery' are hundred percent facts based on what had been going on since the making of the film. He also said that he would also stand by what he had spoken to the Portal with regard to the contribution of cameraman H.C.Venu and the film's director Vishnukanth to the film.

The Ganga Kaveri press conference organised on Thursday evening turned out to as an acrimonious battle of words with director Vishnukanth, actress Tara and Venkatappa making serious allegations and alleging professional misconduct on others. Vishnukanth made a direct allegation against the Chitraloka Portal and its editor K.M. Veeresh and charged him with vitiating the atmosphere. "It is an article written by him that has compounded matters for us and brought out mistrust between me and Venkatappa' said Vishnukanth.

Then actress Tara charged Vishnukanth with telling lies to the media to cover up his own inefficiency and lack of self confidence. "I am extremely sorry to say that he has badmouthed on me and my husband Venu with some of the media friends. I have worked in more than 360 films and have won many awards. I dont deserve to be charged with unprofessionalism, but Vishnukanth has spread deliberate lies to defame me. I will never forgive him for this' said Tara.

Towards the end K.M.Veeresh said that whatever he has written in the Portal are facts and he is prepared to prove by a mountain of visual evidence he had procurred. And he also said that he has not ascribed anything on either Venkatappa or Vishnukanth and the facts on ground would prove his journalistic credibility. .

Finally Veeresh was cleared by all the allegations of Vishnukanth by none other than Venkatappa himself who said that Chitraloka has reported what he had spoken.

As promised in the press conference, the Chitraloka portal will be producing the video evidence to reiterate the facts of the controversy.
