Sharmeelee, DhyanSundnda Murali Manohar presents "Sajini' featuring Dhyan and newly introduced girl Sharmeelee. The film's audio album in which top Music director A.R. Reheman has given music for the film was released recently at Atria Hotel by H.D.Gangaraj, the former President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. Sadananda Shetty, former Chairman of Vijaya Bank released the CD album.

The film is being co-produced by Sonali Nikhil Mandre, daughter of famous distributor Dayanand Mandre. Sonia is the third generation entrepreneur hailing from the family of R.N.Mandre who had distributed more number of Hindi films. He also distributed Kannada films like "Paduvaralli Pandavaru' and many films produced by Dwarakish.

Lot of film personalities were present in this gala function. Dhyan and Sharmeelee were happy to be associated with this film.

Sharmeelee, R.N. Mandre, DhyanDuring a chat with media men, Sonali Nikhil said the film is based on an original story written by B.A.Madhu. But film industry sources say that the film was first offered to Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and the award winning director had refused to take up direction. The reason was ostensibly that the film was not based on an original story, but was remixed from many non Kannada films.

Then the mantle of direction went to Nanjundegowda who had even done some song shootings of the film in London. Then when he was compelled to include some remix sequences, the director walked out of the film. When did Madhu start writing stories which was remix of several non Kannada films? Only Madhu has to answer!

Many Industry persons feel the tunes in the film are of that of A.R.Rahman’s Tamil film 'Jodi' are used in 'Sajini. One of the lyric writer Prahalad told that he changed a little bit of words from the original song lyric!
