Sangram Singh in Celluloid

After, SP. Sangliana, IPS Kempaiah, Dayanayak, B B Ashokkumar, B K Shivaram, now it’s Sangam Singh’s turn to be a celluloid hero. Teshi Venakatesh of Bangalore Bundh fame has plans to bring Sangram Singh on Screen.

I am a close follower and keen observer of Mr. Sangram Singh’s activities from my child hood. He is the super cop, who stopped the rowdyism in Srirampura area. He is one whom I adored from my school days. I am happy that he has agreed to part his experiences for my film- Teshi Said in a press conference on Tuesday evening at Malleshwara Club.

My dream hero for this role is Dr Raj. If he were with us today, I would have pleaded him to play this role. Now I don’t know who is there in director mind to play my role. The one artist who is in my mind is Darshan says Sangram.

Sangram Singh, who attended the press conference, appreciated the dedication and enthusiam of Teshi. I am a fan of Dr. Raj. I have seen all his films. I used to go to his film buying the ticket in Black market, even when I was working as a police Officer – admitted Singh.

The shoot starts on 14th January. The selection of other caste and crew is on.
