If anyone think that newcomers come with new thoughts it is partially wrong. When a stranger to Kannada cine field comes to produce and direct he never cares to know anything about how the films are made. They are not aware of the past history of Kannada films. He just dabs it on screen. Producer cum director Santosh with three films in Tamil while narrating the subject of his film 'Ramya' it reminded us of the old Kannada film 'Benkiyalli Aralidha Hoovu'. Daughter sacrificing for his widow sister and mother is in a nutshell is the story line prepared by Santosh a middle age director. When 'Ramya' the protagonist in the film puts a condition to the hero of the film that he should take of his widow mother and widow sister the hero actually likes this particular condition and convince his affluent family to accept for this condition. Director Santosh was in mood to explain the whole script but he was checked by Akash at one point of time. There are many interesting turns and twists which we don't want to divulge it now said Akash in Telugu and director Santosh kept quiet. Santosh is not aware of Kannada. He spoke in Tamil with the media persons.

Before the settlement of marriage Ramya undergoes trials and tribulations. The sacrificing saga of her is the interesting point says Santosh. The title is heroine oriented. No it is not like that inform the hero Akash and explain that everyone in the film like Ramya the protagonist and that is the reason why the title is kept.

Recently 'Ramya' went on the floors at Reddy House on the outskirts of Bangalore.
Producing in Kannada would help me to dub in to other languages. There is no dubbing in Kannada from other languages that is why I am producing and directing in Kannada admitted Santosh. Prakash Rai is appearing in the second half in an important role. I am shooting the song portion in Singapore informed Santosh.
