The clash of cine workers and a production team has taken it to the height of total strike on Friday the very important day in Kannada filmdom. Friday the auspicious Varamahalkshmi day is the release day of Gandugali Kumara Rama the lavishly made film and the day is also special because six top star films are set to go on the floors.

The late night news is that the concerned party to the commotion in whose absence lot of developments and meetings took place – Rockline Venkatesh and Ashok had a discussion to solve the crisis amicably. All the films are going on the floors and Gandugali Kumara Rama has no hassles for release.

What happened from the afternoon till night 10 pm. Here it goes:

We said 'Yethige Bare Emmege Jwara'. Someone indulge in clash and the entire industry to pay penalty was the situation almost.

On the footpath the associate of producer Rockline Venkatesh and the two cine workers indulge in wordy dual. The associate of producer Brahmi for using foul language (?) slaps (?) one of the two cine workers. This leads to high tension situation. The chamber of Commerce intervenes to settle the issue, the President of Cine Workers Association Ashok agrees to solve the crisis on Saturday but in the afternoon he writes a letter stating the cine workers need not attend to the work on Friday in protest against the insult meted out to cine worker.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening was abuzz with activities. The intervention of superstar Shivarajkumar has controlled the situation to a maximum extent.
