"KAADA BELADINGALU' GETS CLEAN CENSOR

"Kaada Beladingalu' which is being presented by K.N. Siddalingaiah and produced by Bengalooru Company, directed by B.S.Lingadevaru who had earlier directed "Mouni' has been cleared by the Regional Censor Board with a U Certificate.

The additional bonus for this film is that the Censor Board chief Chandrashekhar appreciated this film and called it a film which is a must see in these times when Kannada films have lost its native touch and an urge for quality.

"We the censor board members are seeing films with excessive sex and violence made with a sole motive of making money. These films have monotonous narrations and very poor quality content. Sometimes we feel whether family audience would be able to see them without any embarrassment. We feel bad that such films are being continuously made which are repugnant. "Kaada Beladingalu' is a sensitive film well told with a good script. It is also very well performed' said Chandrashekhar representing the views of other board members who saw the film along with him.

"Kaada Beladingalu' has veteran artists Lokanath and Dattanna in the lead roles, while the younger Ananya Kasaravalli has also played an important role. H.M.Ramachandra is the cameraman of the film. Vagdevi has written the Story, Screenplay and Dialogues. Anil Naidu is the Editor of the film while Rajesh Ramanathan has scored the music and effects by Rajan.

Lingadevaru had earlier directed the much appreciated “Mouni' which gained entry to the Indain Panorama. The film was screened in many national and international film festivals.
