The ignorance of the organisers and event managers about the contribution of the Kannada film industry to the Indian mainstream was obvious when the audio visual showcasing the south Indian film industry was presented to the audience.

Except for showing the photographs of Dr. Raj Kumar, Girish Karnad and Ravichandran, there was no reference to others in the industry, while for all the other regional film industries in South many number of personalities were featured.
