South India's most sought after actress Nayantara has at last come to Sandalwood to act in Upendra's new film Symbol. Film got launched today morning at 6 am at mahalakshmi temple in seshadripuram. Clap was done by Prasanna theater owner Anand and camera switch on by producer Munirathna. Upendra Mother, Father were there in the pooja. Rockline Venkatesh is the producer.

Upendra is not only the hero of the film, but is also directing after a gap of almost 10 years. The film is all set to go on floors on 17th of this month. The photo shoot of the film was held on Friday. Pooja for the film was held at Mahalakshmi temple in Seshadripuram at Friday morning at 6 AM.

Earlier there were efforts from Sandalwood to rope Nayanatar to act in a Kannada film. Most recently producer Muniratna also tried to cast her in his new film 'Keechaka' opposite Ravichandran. However all efforts went waste. Now Upendra and producer Rockline Venkatesh has atlast been successful to rope in the actress to act in their new film.
