Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Suhasini starrer `Maathaad Maathaad Mallige' directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and produced by K. Manju is all set to release in the month of August. The film for which already a big craze has been built will probably be release even in abroad simultaneously in some centers. Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar has already made a prototype of DVD of this film and has circulated the information and trailers of the film to various international circuits which take interest in screening the Indian films.
This information was revealed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar in a press conference on Monday night. Though the press conference was intended to highlight that Kannada films are not getting adequate international recognition and exposure compared to other films of Indian languages, information about the film was also delivered by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar. Nagathi had also given the possible steps to be undertaken to promote Kannada films in the international market.
Nagathihalli who had been to the highly reputed Cannes international film festival held recently said that he was astounded to find out that there were no references of blockbusters like `Mungaru Male' or `Duniya' in the booklets brought out by the CII where only information pertaining to Hindi films and other South Indian language films had occupied large space.
Nagathihalli said that the film's audio is being released in Belgaum shortly in a big way. Mano Murthy is the music director of the film. And the film's DTS recording work is now going on and the film will be ready to be released in the first week of August, said Nagathi.
Dr. Vishnuvardhan, the hero of the film was present in the press conference, but he did not speak in the function.
