Dwarakish Chithra's new film Charulatha starring Priyamani in lead role and directed by Pon Kumaran was censored on Tuesday with a U/A certificate.
Expressing happiness over the U/A certificate, Dwarakish said that he had expected such certification in view of Horror elements in the film.  "I was very happy when some of the Censor Board members personally came to me and said that they were as much happy seeing the film as they saw my banner's previous film "Aaptha Mithra' with Dr. Vishnu and Soundarya' said Dwarakish.
Dwarakish is planning to release the film on September 21.  The main theatre is Narthaki.
Meanwhile  both Priyamani and Yogish, the producer of the Kannada version have left for Cochin to be part of the Malayalam dubbed version of Charulatha which is getting released in around 80 theatres with heavy publicity.
All the four versions of Charulatha is getting released on the same day.
