Dr. Vishnuvardhan had acted in the film Marudanaayagam produced and directed by Kamal Hassan.   Kamal had finished the shooting portions featuring  Dr. Vishnuvardhan  many years ago before the film was shelved because of  financial constraints.  But now we hear that Kamal  is still considering  finishing the  shooting of the film and get it for release.

Kamal  himself has spoken about his Marudhanayagam  recently.   While speaking in a recent event, Kamal stated that the movie’s budget is rising given the current economic conditions and he’s apprehensive about kick starting it owing to the budgetary constraints. “But Marudhanayagam is always in my mind and will sooner or later be commenced,” he assured.

Meanwhile, Kamal’s next project is fixed. It’s as yet untitled, to be directed by KSR and to be produced by Udayanidhi Stalin who also stars alongside Kamal.
