The audio of  Puneet Raj Kumar Priyamani starrer  Raam directed by Maadesh produced by Adithya Babu was released in Mysore on Wednesday.   Eight packs hero Vijay who was working  in Mysore for his film Shankar I.P.S.  released the audio.  Vijay had come to the function in his Police Uniform after completing three hours shooting  for the film.

The audio which has been marked by the Anand Audio has already been released three days ago has been receiving wonderful response.  The film’s director Maadesh, Adithya Babu,  Shaam of Anand Audio, Prithwi producer Soorappa Babu,  Majestick producer Rama Murthy and Actor Bullet Prakash was present. 

Puneet Raj Kumar said that the opportunity to work with many veteran artists was a great experience fore him.  “I had to work with Srinath Mama,  Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Doddanna sir,  Sharath Lohithashwa,  Dharma,  Chithra Shenoy, Tilak and others.  I was acting with Priyamani for the first time and she is  a good professional actress.   I have also  rendered play back for this film.  I have  to be thankful for Harikrishna sir for  composing  very good songs and  Yogaraj Bhat for writing exceptional lyrics for my song’ said Puneet.   

Though  Puneet Raj Kumar’s much awaited film  Raaj, the Showman  has  not met the huge expectations  it had raised,  the fans of the Power Star are   now eagerly awaiting for the release of  his forthcoming film Raam in which  he is teamed up with National award winning actress Priyamani. 

The film is  already  captured the imagination of the Kannada film fans after the release of   its audio in the market a  few days ago.  Three songs of the film for which Harikrishna is the music director  have been much liked  by the fans.   Particularly  the song  Hosa  Gaana  Bajaana for which lyrics is written by  Yogaraj Bhat is the most popular  song of this audio.   Most of Puneet’s fans feel that the music of the film will certainly  become a block buster.  The Ready Ready title song and Neenendhare Nanage Ishta Kane  have also become  popular numbers. 

Raam  has finished its shooting  and the re-recording work has just commenced.  The producers had not even released one still for the film and the big publicity hooplah is about to start now.   The film is  a remake of  Telugu Hit  Ready directed by  Sreenu Vaitla starring  Raam and Genelia.  Hari Krishna is the music director of this film. The iniital reactions to the audio which was released on the Kannada Rajyothsava day is that three songs of the film is exceptionally good.

One important feature of  Raam is that  National award winning actress Priyamani who has now forayed into Bollywood also through Manirathnam’s Raavan is acting  as the heroine of this film. 

Though Priyamani hails from Bangalore and  had even been screen tested for many Kannada films,  she was not part of those films.   Priyamani had always expressed her desire to act in a Kannada film, but now she gets the chance to work in a Kannada film with a big star like Puneet Raj Kumar.  However  Priyamani seems to be disappointed  that she will not be able to dub for the film despite speaking fluently in Kannada. 

“The character she portrays in our film  is that of a  naughty  girl next door type.   I had a discussion with Priyamani and convinced her that  her voice may not suit the character.  She was fairly convinced.  We are using the dubbed voice for the film.  But I am sure Priyamani  who has given such a lively performance in our film will  have an opportunity  to  lend her voice for another Kannada film’ explains  the film’s director  Maadesh. 
Priyamani is happy that  she is working with Puneet in her first film.  “Many years ago I had visited  the office of  Puneet’s Home production Vajreshwari Productions  before the heroine of  the film of  Akash was finalized.  I could not make it, but I am happy that I am teamed up with this great actor now.  He is an exceptional human being.  I found him to be a very simple man, no airs of being a super star.  We enjoyed good chemistry during the shooting’ says Priyamani.
