Duniya Vijay and Praneetha starrer Bheema Theeradhalli directed by Om Prakash Rao and produced by Anaji Nagaraj is hitting the screens on March 16 all over the state.   This was confirmed by Anaji Nagaraj and the film’s distributor Samarha Prasad who has taken the distribution rights of the film all over the state.

Bheema Theeradhalli is being presented by Rudresh who is now the Chairman of the state owned  Kanteerava Studios.

Bheema Theeradalli has the story that deals with the life and times of Chandappa Harijana, a notorious gangster from Northern Karnataka-Hyderabad Karnataka area who had spread his wings even in the borderning areas of Maharashtra. Director Om Prakash Rao says that there has been lot of research which has gone before the final script was written for the film.  The film has been shot in many places of Northern and Hyderabad Karnataka including  Bagalkot, Badami, Bidar and other places. Controversial Minister  of Karnataka Renukacharya is playing a special role in the film.

Duniya Vijay will be working again in a film that will have a story, screenplay and dialogues written by director Soori. It may be recalled that the film Duniya showcased teh talents of both Soori and Vijay to the Kannada film fans.  Now, this combination can be seen in a new film titled as “Jayammana Maga’  which is being produced by  Jayanna. Film will be directed by Viji who had earlier associated soori in films like Duniya, Junglee .

The film will start its shoot after Vijay completes his present commitments including  “Rajani Kantha’ directed by Pradeep Raj of “Kiraathaka’ fame.
Incidentally the lyrics of this film will be written by Yogaraj Bhat whose fantastic lyrics for Vijay in films like “Junglee’ and “Johny Mera Naam’ ensured the big success of these two films.

Soori is now busy completing his directorial venture Anna Bond featuring Power Star Puneeth Raj Kumar in the lead role.  The film will be released in April and Soori may write the dialogues of the film after the release of Anna Bond which has Priyamani and Nidhi Subbaiah in lead roles.

Isha Chawla is one of the heroines to Challenging Star Darshan in Viraat to be directed by H.Vasu.  This film is being produced by Kumar Brothers. Already one schedule shooting of the film has been completed and the shooting for the second schedule will be taken up shortly.

Isha Chawla  has already established as a lucky actress in the Telugu film industry. Her first film “Prema Kaavali’ in which she was teamed up with Telugu actor Aadhi (actor Sai Kumar’s son) registered a big success in the Box office.  Now, the reports are that her second film “Poola Rangudu’ in which the glamorous actress was teamed up with actor Sunil has also turned out to be a bigger hit giving the tag of a lucky actress to Isha Chawla.

With two big hits in her bag,  Isha  has already established herself well in the Telugu film industry.  She is now the much sought out actress in Telugu film industry.  She has been roped in as one of the heroines for  in Balakrishna’s big extravaganza ‘Srimannarayana’..

Two song sequences are still to be shot for  Shivaraj Kumar starrer “Shiva’ directed by Om Prakash Rao and produced by K.P.Srikanth.  One day’s patch work also is pending for which the shooting will be held sometime on March 5.

Meanwhile, sources said that Shivaraj Kumar will be visiting Sorab to participate in the ceremonial function of  Late S.Bangarappa, his father in law in the next week. The first of the song sequences will be shot in Bijapur where a number of dancers will be used along with main artists Shivaraj Kumar and Raagini. Another song will be shot in Ooty which will be commencing on March 13.

The Bijapur song will be shot for four days and it will be choreographed by Imran. Shivanna will be participating in the muhurath of  Phaneesh directed ‘Andar Baahar’ after which he will be proceeding to Ooty to complete the last song sequence which will be a romantic number of the actor and the film’s heroine Raagini.

Shivaraj Kumar will be taking up the unfinished work of  Lakshmi directed by Raghava Loki after returning from Bijapur. Incidentally the audio release of  Shiva, which will be next release of Shivanna has been planned in Chitradurga and the film may be released in the month of April.

Well known Tamil film actor and director Cheran who directed many classic films like “Autograph’ is of the opinion that film stars should not play cricket matches. Director Cheran who was speaking at the audio release function of the film Malaipozhudin Mayakkathile opined that if all the actors concentrate on playing cricket, there would be nobody left to cast in movies. Cheran also requested this  issues to be sorted out soon. “I pray my ancestors for a quick solution because I do not pray to God,” he mentioned.

Tamil film industry feels that the way the TRP’s are increasing for the CCL matches, it is definite that the matches will eat out big revenues accuring to the film industry as the matches are being played on Saturday and Sunday, when big Holiday Crowd are visiting the theatres.

Acclaimed film director S.S.Rajamouli has unveiled the luck of the Tamil version of  “Eega’ which stars Kicha Sudeepa in an important role, while Telugu actors Nani and Samantha play the lead roles.  In the story of the film, Nani dies in the hands of Sudeep and the Kannada actor has hogged the limelight throughout the film.

S S Rajamouli has  already wrapped up the shoot of this sci-fi revenge drama, which has used  lot of  Hollywood technicians and stunt artists.  Eega, is now in post-production stage.

The music album of  Eega  music would be launched on March 22nd, a day earlier to the Ugadi festival  in Hyderabad.  The audio album of the Tamil version would be unveiled on March 25th in Chennai.

Recently  S.S.Rajamouli went to Chennai to address the  Tamil media and unveiled the look of the Tamil version.

Eega is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil. The  hero of this film  who dies in the hands of villain gets a rebirth in the form of a housefly and takes the revenge on the villain. This is the crux of the story of Eega, and this format has never before been attempted in Indian cinema before.  S.S.Rajamouli has already tweeted appreciating Sudeep and paid encomiums for his performance.  Rajamouli has said that   he had never seen such a great performance from any artist in tne antagonists role.
The film will be releasing in the month of April.

The title of the Tamil version of Eega has been finalised as Naan Ee. The details of the press conference that was addressed by S.S.Rajamouli in Chennai is given under.
Telugu cinema’s celebrated hit maker S.S. Rajamouli, is doing a direct Tamil film for the first time; The name of the film is Naan Ee which will be one of the biggest experiments ever done in Indian cinema.

In fact, to call the making of this film as a big experiment may be a little out of place.  It may well be called as  a small experiment. Yes, perhaps we will be seeing the smallest ever protagonist in the history of Indian cinema, world cinema perhaps, a house fly! Yes, you read it right, a house fly will the protagonist of the movie, rightly titled Naan Ee. The antagonist’s role is played by Kicha Sudeepa.

The amount of special effects and ground work that would have to go into making a full length feature film with a fly as the main character is enarmous. . The storyline, as revealed by the director in the press meet  is that of a hero (played by Naani) who gets killed in a conspiracy hatched by the villain (Sudeep). The hero is reincarnated, as a fly, and he is yearning for revenge. How does a fly iniflict revenge on a human being? Well, for that the fly takes the help of the heroine, played by Samantha, who was his lover during his time as a human on earth. The communication between the fly and his lady love is said to be the highlight of this movie. That the movie is going to be a hilarious ride for the audience is sure because the screenplay and dialogue have been handled by none other than Crazy

Mohan,who also plays an important character in the movie. Santhanam will also be seen in a full length role in this film. Santhanam said that this role offered him scope to do something different from the usual sarcastic dialogue delivery that he has been doing. Here, he has been made to react more through his facial expressions than dialogues.

The all important visual effects department of this movie has been handled by Kamalakkannan and Peter, from England.  Almost all the visual effects portions have been handled by Indian technicians, barring Peter. Kamalakkannan said that creating visual effects for scenes comprising a fly is extremely difficult; perhaps even more difficult than creating dinosaurs. Rajamouli said that this story was first narrated to him by his father around 15 years back. But, it is only now that enough resources and technology is available in the industry to make such a project come true. He said that this movie will be something like a Stuart Little for Tamil cinema. He also said that some of the tricks used by the fly to wreak vengeance on its enemy will be reminiscent of the clever methods used by Appu in Apoorva Sahodarargal. Samantha said that she was extremely happy about being part of this film and that she would have definitely regretted it had she not been able to do it.

Music for Naan Ee, has been scored by Keervani who is known as Maragadhamani in the Tamil film industry.  The film is almost complete and is slated for a March release, as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. S.S. Rajamouli has previously directed blockbusters like Magadheera.

The entire Indian film industry is observing Bundh on Thurdsay 23rd February 2012 to protest against the idea of bringing the Service Tax in the purview of Film related transactions. The entire activities of the film industry including production (shooting and post production work), film screening and distribution activities will be closed on that day.  The theatres in the state will be totally shut on that day.

Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce is also supporting the Bundh call given by the Apex film body and has advised all its members to shut all the activities of the trade.  Meanwhile, a procession of film industry personalities has been planned on Thursday morning to present a memorandum to the Governor of Karnataka.   The memorandum will appeal to the Central Government to withdraw their decision to bring in the film industry activiteis under the ambit of service tax.
Shootings, recording work, post production activities will be closed on Thursday.  All the theatres will stop screening on Thursday.

Debutant hero Dhruva Sarja, nephew of South Indian Super Star Arjun Sarja is very happy about the response to the audio release function held on the Valentile Day in general and the audio album itself in particular.   My friends are of the opinion that it is one of the best audio that has been released in recent days, says Dhruva.

Dhruva had wanted to know the reactions of his favourite stars Sudeep and Darshan for the album.  “Darshan sir has liked three songs in the film and said that he has liked them equally.  Sudeep’s sir is hugely impressed by the Ammate song.  I am happy that my pick of the album has also been the favourite of Sudeep sir’ says Dhruva.

Dhruva also says that more than four thousand viewers have browsed the one minute Ammate teaser song in the youtube which had surprised him. “For a newcomer like me, this is certainly a great feeling.  I am sure if the song video is shown with the song, it will be hugely popular’ says Dhruva. The film’s heroine Radhika Pandit is also excited about the good reactions for the songs of the film.  She is now shooting for one song and a few sequences   M.D.Sridhar directed “Sagar’ in Singapore now.

Kicha Sudeepa says that he is now better prepared to shoot for films as he would be able to see few loved faces again. This is the remark he has made in his tweet recently.
As has been reported in the Mega Portal Sudeepa is all set to start shooting for his next film Varadanaayaka from February 27.  He is playing a special role in the film. Then follows Harsha directed untitled film  produced by N.Kumar and Shashank directed film for producer Uday Mehta.

Now we hear that Bachchan is the title which has been finalised for Shashank’s enture which will start its shoot in May. This film will have three heroines.
Incidentally H.C.Venu will the cinemetographer for Harsha’s film which will have music by Arjun Janya.

Kicha Sudeepa’s new untitled film to be produced by N.Kumar and directed by “Chingaari’ director Harsha will be launched on March 24.  This film will be a remake of  Telugu Hit Kick starring Ravi Teja.   Ravi Teja seems to be a lucky mascot for  Sudeepa as  his film “Veera Madakaari’ which was a remake of  Vikramarkudu was a big hit.

N.Kumar’s film “Naraasimhaa’ starring Ravichandran and Nikisha Patel is getting released on March 23, Ugadi festival day.  His new film with Sudeepa will be launched the next day on March 24.  The heroine for this film has not been finalised yet.   The selection of artists and technicians will start after Harsha returns from Bangkok where he has gone to choreograph songs for a Kannada film starring Gundaragovi Sathya.
