The CD format of 2500 photographs of Kannada films with additional details and some rare photographs would be released at the AKKA festival in United States of America informed Mr Mohan of Anand Audio. I am not doing business out of this but I am a part of this great effort said Mohan of Anand Audio.

K.M. VeereshGM rejoyz Mruthyanyana

The chief sponsor of the mega event the first of its kind by Chitraloka in showcasing 2500 Kannada film stills in the week long exhibition (taking place at Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce) is nothing but an achievement said Mr Mrithyunjaya the proprietor of Rejoyz Digital Auditorium.

K.M.Veeresh had put in six years effort for this exhibition and on the occasion of Suvarna Karnataka we need executors and not share holders for the construction of our state felt Mrithyunjaya also an educationist in Karnataka. The brainchild of K.M.Veeresh is of course a model to other industry informed Mrithyunjaya.

Rajendera Singh Babu Addressing the PressThis is a wonderful effort. A photograph express more than thousand words is a cliché statement but a film photo of yesteryears is a ready material for those who want to do research. Debri and Michel camera no one knows today. The transformation of cinema from mythological to social, the costumes, the cut light, wigs, the expressions are all available in the photographs. I really became emotional after watching some of the photographs in K.M.Veeresh's laptop said S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu the senior director with national and international acclaim. K.M.Veeresh deserves all encouragement in his effort felt Singh Babu.

Singh Babu also reiterated his old ambition to come up with a college in Mysore for cinema as early as possible. He has an Australian government still pending to put up.

Indrajit LankeshDirector of repute Indrajith Lankesh collected tears in his eyes when he heard about the effort of K.M.Veeresh in coming to this stage of exhibition. From the history of photographs we have opportunity to learn so many things. I am waiting to see the CD format of 2500 Kannada film stills said Indrajith. Mr Veeresh is sensitive. He has not asked for help for this event boldly. The Karnataka Film Chamber and film industry has to support the good deeds of Veeresh he said. He has promised to provide help for Veeresh for the conduct of this event and invited him to his office.

Girish Rao (Jogi)After the welcome address made by H.Girish Rao – Jogi senior journalist the editor of Chitraloka explained the big task behind this exhibition and how he got the help from various friends in the media and industry. The exhibition will be held in the first and second floor of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce and the delay in the building construction has made him to delay the event that was scheduled for July 16 he said. The Karnataka Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy and Smt.Parvathamma Rajkumar would be attending the inaugural function on August 13. Veeresh has plans to keep one full day for the Kannada film industry to take a look at the exhibition. From the second day of the exhibition it will be open for general public.

Anand Audio Mohan
Drawing his attention on the CD format of 2500 photographs he said the browsing of each photographs takes 15 seconds and to go through all the 2500 photographs plus the special package of Dr.Rajkumar photographs inside would take 14 hours he explained. He also felt the need of revised edition of Kannada film history book that was banned for some flaws.
