Hunt and many more... Chitraloka.com has proved its speed of operation
and authenticity of news over the past years. The portal is rich
with its archived information and photographs.
This portal is visited
by all parts of the globe, particularly from India and
USA. At the same time, it is really a notable thing that
chitraloka.com has even reached the people of small towns
of the home state - Karnataka. Result is that, Chitraloka.com
today boasts of several thousand unique visitors, lakhs
of page views and millions of hits every month.
The People :
There is not
a big army behind this portal to manage and maintain it.
I should be frank enough to say that, I am the only person...
say, producer, director, actor, technician, light-boy
and what's not!
But, I out-source
some of the services from professionals. I take this opportunity
to thank all my good friends who are helping me in running
this site. I thank them profusely, because without them
it might have been impossible for me to nourish chitraloka.com
to this stage.
First person
I should ever remeber is my father late K.S.
Mallappa. He was the main inspire for me in starting
this portal.
Let me tell
you something about me also. I am basically a Cine-Photo-journalist.
I am in this cinema field for last 15 years. Prior to
that, I was a sports journalist for about 3 years. I have
not only covered the simple film photo sessions but also
have done some of the dangerous investigative photo assignments
for few Dailies and Tabloids especially `Hai Bangalore’
Thanks to
all these experiences, today I have understood Kannada
Film Industry and luckily Industry also understood me
very well. Hence, Kannada Film industry is highly supporting
chitraloka.com. In fact, many film personalities are encouraging
me to do a lot of things on this portal. Yes, I will do
a lot many things on this portal. As a first step I have
changed the design of the portal and added some more interactive
sections. Many more things are in my mind. Just watch
out for them.
