Dinesh Baboo made films that brought out the intricate relationship between a husband and wife when a third person enters the relationship. Hendtigelbedi was a nice example of such a film that is also a murder thriller. Sri Harikathe is also a similar attempt which utilises humour arising out of adultery. There is some suspense thrown in and you have a film that has the objective of making you laugh as the sole criteria.

Srimurali plays a businessman who believes in saving his virginity for marriage. The exact opposite is his friend and subordinate Naveen Krishna, who is a womaniser. When the businessman marries his wife (played by Radhika Gandhi) imposes a condition that they cannot have sex till she completes her studies. This drags on for nine months by which time Srimurali’s character is desperate to consummate the marriage. When a further delay is imposed by his wife he decides to go for an one-night-stand. Pooja Gandhi, agrees to fulfill his desires. But she is found murdered the following day.

From here on, the film is full of twists and turns and it is hard to keep track of the storyline. But since the scenes are filled with humorous situations, the film is a pacy watch. However much of the comedy is cheesy and may not suit all type of audience.

Naveen Krishna is the best among the main characters. Srimurali and Pooja Gandhi also deliver decent performances. But if they had matched Naveen Krishna, the film could have gone to a much higher level. The music and camerawork are okay. In the first half of the film it is only Naveen Krishna who manages to keep things interesting. Overall the film is not great, but still a paisa-vasool.
